Durham, NC- Things are getting wild for the Durham bred rapper Harvey J as screenshots broke out earlier today of a tweet from the mayor of Durham Bill Bell. Stating that Harvey promotes “Violence and Drinking” in his music. He went on to imply that J is partly responsible for the current lack of music programs in the city.. DAMN!

For those of you who are not hip Harvey is a Carolina based rapper best known for his involvement in the Skrillex album Eggnog that released earlier this year. He was seen burning a contract a few months back that went viral online. Since then he has paired up under mentorship by Master P and has announced an upcoming project with Scott Storch!
