T.I. is set to host this year’s Global Spin Awards in New Orleans on Feb. 16.  The fifth annual awards show will honor DJs from across the world. DJ Khaled, DJ Envy and DJ Drama are nominated for DJ of the year along with DJ Snake, Diplo and Calvin Harris.  The awards will also feature a special No Limit reunion with Master P, Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal and Romeo.
“Throughout my career, I’ve formed long-standing relationships with DJs and have always noticed the lack of recognition given to them and the roles they play within the culture, music and entertainment,” Global Spin Awards founder Shawn Prez states on the GSA website.  “The GSAs were created to fill that void and finally honor the DJs exclusively for their achievements, especially amongst their peers.”  The show will air Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET on Revolt TV.
