The Celtics defeated the 76ers tonight in Philadelphia by a final score of 112-109 behind a game-high 26 points (8-11 FG), 4 rebounds and 3 assists from Gordon Hayward off the bench. Al Horford added 23 points (9-16 FG), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in the victory. Joel Embiid led the 76res with 23 points (9-22 FG), 14 rebounds and 2 blocks, while Jimmy Butler tallied 22 points (7-12 FG) and 9 rebounds in the losing effort. With the win, the Celtics improve to 36-21, while the 76ers fall to 36-21 on the season.

Behind triple-doubles from Paul George (season-high tying 47 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists) and Russell Westbrook (21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists), the Thunder defeated the Trail Blazers tonight in Oklahoma City by a final score of 120-111. George and Westbrook are the first teammates in NBA history to each have a 20-point triple-double in the same game, regular season or playoffs. This is also the 9th time two teammates have recorded triple-doubles in the same game, the 2nd time this season (L. James and L. Ball – 12/15/2018 at CHA) and the second occurrence in franchise history (L. Wilkens and A. Harris – 3/12/1969).

Marcus Smart led the Celtics with 21 points, 7 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks, while Al Horford totaled 14 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and a season-high 6 blocked shots. The Celtics tied their franchise record with 16 blocks as a team, set on 1/21/1983 at Chicago. The Nets were led by D’Angelo Russell’s game-high 25 points (4-8 3pt FG). Russell has made 48 3-pointers in the month of January, a franchise record for 3pt FGs made in a single month. With the win, the Celtics improve to 31-19, while the Nets fall to 27-24 on the season.

The Raptors never trailed in the second half and defeated the Kings tonight in Toronto by a final score of 120-105.
