For those who don’t know Jimi Jump is an artist/barber from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who’s had an extensive background on the hip hop culture along with being one of the more known socialites in the city of Baton Rouge.
In episode 14 Jump had the opportunity to interview Southern Soul/Blues Singer Johnny James. In this interview Jimi discuss with Johnny his transition from the rap game to the Blues, his new music what he’s been up to, & more. On February 25th, 2019 Crane City Music hosted the first-ever Town Love Hip-Hop Awards at the Pacific Science Center Laser Dome. “Cookie Jar” was a Top 20 Nominee, placing at #14 on the list. 267 records were therefore in contention for 2018’s “Record of The Year.”
