Lara vs Foreman HIGHLIGHTS: January 13, 2017 (Sports)


Erislandy Lara defends his title for a 5th time against Yuri Foreman on January 13th on PBC on Spike in Miami, FL.
In round 1 Lara sets the pace for the fight and establishes his jab while feeling Foreman out. In round 2 the action slowed down but Lara continued to control the tempo. In the final minute of round 3 Lara scores a knockdown and begins to throw more punches.
Round 4 Lara puts away Foreman with a slip uppercut left hand that sends Foreman to the canvas. Lara wins by KO and improves his record to 24-2 (14 KO’s).

Super Welterweight World Championship Tripleheader | May 21st on SHOWTIME


The elite of the 154-pound division will compete in three world title bouts featuring titleholders Erislandy “The American Dream” and Jermall Charlo defending their belts. Jermall’s twin brother, Jermell takes on John Jackson for the vacant WBC Super Welterweight title – live from the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Saturday May 21 at 9 PM ET/6PM PT on SHOWTIME.

The outcome to this fight will probably has some of the biggest implications in boxing for years to come. Canelo will be taking on  the most feared man in his division in Erislandy Lara. A loss will probably knock Canelo out of being a Pay Per View star but a win would probably put him back in the running for a rematch with Mayweather or a fight with Miguel Cotto.
