Guerrero vs Peralta HIGHLIGHTS August 27, 2016 PBC on Spike (Sports)

Robert Guerrero was looking to bounce back from a narrow miss at the WBC welterweight world title, while David Peralta was looking to capitalize on the opportunity of a lifetime.
The two clashed in a PBC on Spike main event bout in Anaheim, Calif., and provided 12 rounds of non-stop action.
Guerrero looked sharp and controlled the action in the fight’s opening rounds, moving in and out successfully and quickly finding his range against the taller Peralta.
In the middle of the fight, though, Guerrero began to slow, and Peralta capitalized, repeatedly scoring both upstairs and to the body. Peralta picked up several rounds on the scorecards in the fight’s second half, and his most significant moment came in the 9th round, when a clean shot sent Guerrero back into the corner, barely staying up on his feat with the aid of the ring support.
That just gave Peralta even more confidence to close the show with ferocity, and he finished it off with a dominant 12th round showing. In the end, he took advantage of the opportunity in his first fight in America, leaving with a stunning Split Decision victory (115-113, 113-115, 116-112).
