Lester Sanchez & Quincy Jamal – Wentworth (EP)

As two of Orlando, Florida’s premiere indie artists Lester Sanchez and Quincy Jamal are no strangers to working with one another. A clear track record of chemistry on songs like “Sky High” and “Perfect” in early 2019 show potential for the pair. Potential turns into reality today as their collaborative EP “Wentworth” arrives. In regards to the project’s inspiration Lester Sanchez states:

“Wentworth is the neighborhood me and Quincy grew up in and where we met. Typical story, low income housing, both growing up single moms with nothing but stress and problems. We made the best of it though.”
Clocking in at 9 tracks, “Wentworth” combines Quincy Jamal’s lyrical ability with Lester Sanchez’s penchant for catchy and melodic hooks. The project carries tunes for all types of moods whether it be party time vibes or something to reflect to. Features on the set come from Tah O and Pressure Dommer. Quincy Jamal – To Whom It May Concern (Album)

Coming with his first official project is Quincy Jamal with “To Whom It May Concern”. The Orlando, Florida based MC may be making his full length debut but he sounds nothing like a rookie as evident upon pressing play. Lyricism forms the basis of his work as he makes it his mission to bring a message with every track listed on the set. Keeping the focus on himself and his ability Quincy Jamal keeps the features to the absolute minimum here. It works well for him though as he proves he is more than capable of carrying the project and keeping things interesting throughout. Check it out below and look for more to come in the future.
