This track was produced by Sounds By COOP who is based in Atlanta, GA. The track borrows Tela’s Suave House production to give it a Houston twist that presents a classic mix of historic sound with a modern vibe. Franchise Tief and EDF have been working on music collectively for a couple of years out of Houston and Atlanta while doing production for other acts.

 Mike Red, Chinky P, and Norway’s Soul Division, concentrates selection of slow melodic tunes with heavy basses make this the project to ride in to the new year with. This time around EDF brings Zo Bones and Bless The Fresh’s Southwest Marco as lead features.

Following the release of two EP’s earlier this year (Ingomar Way and Purple Session), Houston artist EDF is back with another single to kick off the Fall. With production from Houston’s own Mike Red, EDF releases Down The Block which can be seen as a dedication to SUC Yungstar’s Knockin Pictures off The Wall in a more laid back and more melodic fashion. While on the road, EDF continues to work on his current project, Be Right Back.

Fresh off the release of his “Ingomar Way” EP and opening for artists such as Big K.R.I.T., LE$, and Devin The Dude, EDF is back with another project, Purple Session. Purple Session is a collection of tracks created to follow up his classic Ingomar Way, which is on LiveMixtapes and Apple Music right now. The goal of Purple Session is to set the tone for what’s to come this spring and summer. Purple Session features production from GnB  (G. Luck and BDon), Norway’s Soul Divison, COOP, and JuicyBeatz. EDF brings George Young, Mike Red, and Cash Capone to assist with this round of material. Coming from Hiram Clarke, but representing Houston and Texas to the best of his abilities, EDF delivers Purple Session. With laid back trap anthems, or pure Cadillac music there’s a combination sonically for all fans to ride too. Be on the look out for EDF’s line of products under his “In The Wind” imprint which will include rolling papers, shirts, hats, and customized strains later this year, in addition to the visuals and music of course.
