“The car in the photo was my first car my granddad gave me when I turn 16. I drove it from a lil town call Itta Bena, MS to Birmingham. Wasn’t much but all I had. Back then I was a All State football player had a 4.0 in school and a 30 on the ACT. I Also dropped mixtapes and sold them out this car. Niggas would be like “how we take u serious you rapping wit this car.” Girls be like “girl he cute but he a rapper and drive that car”. That summer I worked at McDonalds bought a CD player for it and all we rode to was underground Texas music Swisha House & DSR. All a lil Nigga wanted to do was ball like Slim Thug, Lil Flip & Chamillionaire & drop screens like DSR. I said one day Imma ball, shine up my chrome & come down on these hoes and haters” so this is the inspiration for this song and played homage to that time.”
