Take That Monkey Ish Off Vol. 3

This is part three of Take That Monkey Ish off you embrassing us. Cycling through some of my favorite sites (NikeTalk, Vine, Instagram, etc.) we run across some of the most embarrassing and trifling things across the internet. We for one don’t condone it or appluad it but we must put it on blast and be the voice to let you know “to take that monkey ish off you embrassing us”.
Obvious someone doesn’t know their Roman Numerals.

All I can say is damn son! Homeboy said “Yeah, this is live”.

Kill Yourself Vol.1 (Online Video Gaming)

Is it really that serious? Every once in awhile when we have free time one of the things we here at the Antidote might like to do is cut on the XBOX and play a few games online. One thing we have taken notice is how many people take the games so serious online.
I recently played about 5-6 games of NBA2K13 online and the things people do and how serious they are is amazing.  People will do anything to avoid taking that L.  I  recently played against one guy who paused the game every time a shot went up, after every foul, and pretty much any time the game would allow him to pause it he would. It became extremely annoying over time. It’s like guys online have such a big problem accepting defeat that they have to go and do anything possibly to either annoy you, glitch you out a win, or just straight up piss you off to the point of possibly quitting.

With a game like NBA2K13 and having quite a few games under my belt online I’ve found that there are lot of flaws  and glitches to the game that seems like people exploit way too much. For instance, I recently started playing a mode called “My Team” in My Team you basically can buy any NBA players you want and make a team out of them. The thing is that most people’s teams are outrageously good, glitched, or some other bull along those lines.  I’ve played against guys who bought a team full of three point shooters and shoot up to 30 threes a game. To say that’s unrealistic is an understatement.  I’ve seen guys pretty much take off anywhere in the front court with Lebron James and dunk regardless of how and where the defense is sitting. I’ve notice that people have taken advantage of the fact that you can’t block dunks on the game which is ridiculously.  I’ve also notice how much signature skills, spin moves, and up in unders are way too effective in the game. I’ve played against guys online who have literally spun 20-30 times in a game because they can’t create their own shot any other way.
To me it’s extremely wack to play in games online where guys abuse the glitches, flaws, etc to the point of doing it just to simply say you got a win. At the end of the day is it really that serious? Me personally I think folks who take the game that serious should honestly kill themselves.

Take That Monkey Ish Off Vol. 2

Cycling through some of my favorite sites (NikeTalk Vine, Instagram, etc.) we run across some of the most embarrassing and trifling things across the internet. We for one don’t condone it or appluad it but we must put it on blast and be the voice to let you know “to take that monkey ish off you embrassing us”.

Come on son Bump N Grind & Gospel together. What’s next? Pop it for Allah? Buss it for Buddah?
Hood Rat
Well damn. I must say this edition of TTMIO is really leaving me speechless.
Judge Joe Brown be on there talking all that shit on TV and look at him on this video. I don’t even have anything slick to say about it…
This reminds me of a time when I was in college. I walked into a computer lab late in the day and two (yes two) dudes were huddle up together by a computer looking at porn together. When we walked in the lab they didn’t know we were behind them. Once they turned around and found out we knew they were watching porn they damn near shitted on themselves.  This guy here looks like a single damn was given. He said I gotta get it whenever and where ever.
I’ll let the gif speak for itself.

Bad Bag of Dope Vol.3

With Lamar Odom recently being in the news for being on that dope we decided to bring back “Bad Bag of Dope”.  Not only has he fell of like a bad bag of dope, but he’s on one too. In this edition of Bad Bag of Dope we decided to do the random draw starting with…
BET – The Game – I know a lot of people were happy to see The Game back on TV. Shockingly enough BET brought it back, but of course BET had to ruin what was considered to be a pretty thing. Rather than bringing back the original writers, concept, etc. of the show BET decided to turn it into some kind of drama. Now with BET getting rid of both leading characters we will see how long this show will stay afloat.
jigg music
Jigg Music – What use to be Baton Rouge’s calling card is now dead. Baton Rouge at one point was known for making club music that could kept a party going from 8-9 o clock at night until 3-4 in the morning. Those days are pretty much over with. While many locals bashed Jig music it had it’s own lane and in the process of killing their own product many others stole the sound and stole the concept and saw many other artists and regions cash out on what many folks in Baton Rouge were ashamed of. Just like Atlanta had their variety of artists Baton Rouge could of had it’s lyricists, conscious rappers, and jig artists.I would of definitely rather seen Da Jiggalaters, Sam I Am, & N.I.P. cash out than Trinidad James and Cash Out.
Oakland Raiders – With the NFL season returning, we had to put on here one of the most prominent franchises in sports on here. 20 years ago the Raiders were looked at as one of the most popular franchises in sports with one of the most dedicated fanbases around.  I don’t know if you guys have realized but the Raiders haven’t been back to the playoffs since 2002. The most wins they’ve had since then is 8.
Box Office Preview
Black Movies – You can say what you want but Tyler Perry & Oprah have messed up the game. If it’s not about some slave mess, church, cheating on your spouse, being subordinate to the white man, or whatever foolishness it seems like it won’t make it to the silver screen and if it does it doesn’t seem like it does well like it use to. Throughout the 80s & 90s there were a variety of movies that featured blacks that didn’t seem to follow the same old stereotypes. We had movies like Coming to America, Friday, Juice, House Party,  New Jack City, Do The Right Thing, Boomerang, etc. Now a days it seems like it’s only about big black dudes wearing drag that seems to get any type of reception to the masses.
Real RnB – We here at ThaAntidote try our best to support real RnB with artists like J Mike, David Vines, etc,  coming up but on a national scale there aren’t really that many new great RnB artists. While the TGT album was refreshing to hear, it’s coming from three RnB guys who’s been in the game since the 90s.  There aren’t any new hot RnB acts out. When’s the last time we have seen a new RnB group do numbers? It’s partially our faults for not supporting real RnB when it was out, but now it’s needed and hopefully it can shake back.
